Tan Sri Ahmad Badri Mohd Zahir ("Tan Sri Ahmad Badri") was appointed as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director/Deputy Chairman and formalised as Chairman of RHB Bank on 16 November 2020 and 24 March 2021, respectively.
Tan Sri Ahmad Badri holds a Degree in Land and Property Management, MARA University of Technology and Master in Business Administration, University of Hull, United Kingdom.
Tan Sri Ahmad Badri started his career as a Senior Valuation Executive at C.H. Williams, Talhar & Wong Sdn Bhd prior to his appointment as the Assistant Secretary in the Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance in 1989 where he served for nearly 30 years in various capacities, the last being the Secretary General of Treasury.
Tan Sri Ahmad Badri was appointed as the Chairman of the Employees Provident Fund on 1 May 2020. He has sat on the EPF Investment Panel since 2014 and is vastly experienced in the fields of strategic investment, loan management, financial market and actuarial science.
Tan Sri Ahmad Badri previously served on the Boards of Bank Negara Malaysia, Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan), Permodalan Nasional Berhad and Tenaga Nasional Berhad, amongst others.

Tan Sri Ong Leong Huat @ Wong Joo Hwa ("Tan Sri Ong") was appointed as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Bank on 20 November 2012. He also serves as a Member of the Board Credit Committee.
Tan Sri Ong holds a Capital Markets and Services Representative's licence issued by the Securities Commission of Malaysia under the Capital Markets and Services Act, 2007 for dealing in securities. Tan Sri Ong was a Director of MESDAQ from July 1999 to March 2002 and a member of the Capital Market Advisory Council appointed by the Securities Commission in 2004 to advise on issues relating to the implementation of the Capital Market Master Plan. He was a director on the Board of Bursa Malaysia Berhad from 2008 to 2015 and was previously a member of the Securities Market Consultative Panel of Bursa Malaysia.
For over 17 years since 1969, Tan Sri Ong was attached to a leading financial institution where he last held the position of Senior General Manager. He was the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") of OSK Investment Bank Berhad (now known as OSKIB Sdn Bhd) from July 1985 to January 2007 and thereafter was appointed as the Group Managing Director/CEO. He was then re-designated as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director and subsequently resigned on 30 April 2013.

Ong Ai Lin ("Ms Ong") was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Bank Berhad on 1 July 2017. She also serves as the Chairperson of the Board Audit Committee and a Member of the Board Risk Committee.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom. She is an Associate of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
Ms Ong began her career with Deloitte Haskins & Sells (“DH&S”) in London in 1978, prior to joining PricewaterhouseCoopers (“PwC”) in 1991 as Senior Manager. At PwC, she built the IT audit practice, an integral part of the firm’s financial audit services. She was then appointed as Partner/Senior Executive Director of PwC in 1993 and was the Business Continuity Management and Information Security Practice Leader for PwC Malaysia. She has also served as the past President of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (“ISACA”) – Malaysia Chapter.
Ms Ong has over 30 years of experience in providing Business Continuity Management, Governance Risk and Compliance, Information Security, Cyber Security, Technology Risk and Governance, and Data Privacy services in the United Kingdom, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, and Malaysia. Her extensive experience includes collaboration with regulators, government ministries agencies and organisations in various sectors encompassing financial services, telecommunications and multimedia, energy, capital markets, transportation, aviation, manufacturing & trading, cyber security, provident fund and sovereign wealth fund, as well as non-governmental organisations.
Her knowledge and experience earned her the “Best Certified Business Continuity Professional in Malaysia” award from Disaster Recovery Institute International at their inaugural awards in 2012. She was also awarded the “Cybersecurity Lifetime Achievement Award” in 2018 by CyberSecurity Malaysia.

LIM CHENG TECK

Lim Cheng Teck ("Mr Lim") was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Bank Berhad on 28 November 2018. He also serves as a Member of the Board Credit Committee and Board Risk Committee.
He holds a Master of Business Administration from Brunel University, United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Arts from the National University of Singapore.
Mr Lim was the Regional Chief Executive Officer for ASEAN at Standard Chartered Bank. He first joined Standard Chartered Bank in 1988 and has held various roles within the bank’s Corporate and Institutional Banking Division before being appointed as the Chief Operating Officer for Standard Chartered Bank (China) Ltd in 2005. In 2006, he was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Ltd. He returned to China in 2009 to take up the role of Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice Chairman of Standard Chartered Bank (China) Ltd. He has served on several Standard Chartered Bank subsidiary boards notably as the Chairman of Standard Chartered Bank (Mauritius) Ltd, Standard Chartered Bank (Thailand) Ltd, Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Ltd, the Deputy Chairman of Standard Chartered Bank (Malaysia) Ltd and the President Commissioner of PT Bank Permata, Indonesia. He has also served as a Non-Executive Director of Standard Chartered Bank (Taiwan) Ltd.
He has previously served as a Director on the Boards of Clifford Capital Pte Ltd and Singapore International Chamber of Commerce, a Governor of Singapore International Foundation and a Council Member of the Institute of Banking and Finance Singapore and Singapore National Employers Federation. Additionally, he was the Chairman of Overseas Financial Service Commission, China Chamber of Commerce, the Vice Chairman of the Association of Banks Singapore and a Member of the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s Financial Centre Development Committee. Having served in the banking arena for over 28 years, Mr Lim retired from Standard Chartered Bank in April 2016 and continued as a senior advisor on a non-executive role till April 2017. Further, he had a short stint of service as the Chief Executive Officer of Pontiac Land Group from March 2017 to May 2018.
Currently, he sits on the Advisory Board of Sim Kee Boon Institute of Financial Economics, Singapore Management University as well as the Boards of Minterest Holdings Pte Ltd and Bright Vision Community Hospital, Singapore.
YBHG DATO' MOHAMAD NASIR AB LATIF

Dato’ Mohamad Nasir Ab Latif ("Dato’ Mohamad Nasir") was appointed as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Bank on 16 March 2020. He also serves as a Member of the Board Nominating & Remuneration Committee.
Dato’ Mohamad Nasir graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science (Economics) from Universiti Sains Malaysia and subsequently obtained a Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He also holds a Master of Science in Investment Analysis from the University of Stirling, United Kingdom.
Dato’ Mohamad Nasir started his career with the Employees Provident Fund Board in 1982 and held several positions including State Enforcement Officer (1990 to 1995), Senior Research Officer, Manager and Senior Manager in the Investment and Economics Research Department (1995 to 2003) and General Manager of the International Equity Investment Department (July 2009 to 2013). He was last appointed as Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Investment) in 2013 and retained this position until his retirement in December 2019.

Donald Joshua Jaganathan ("Mr Donald") was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Bank on 17 August 2020. He also serves as the Chairman of the Board Risk Committee and a Member of the Board Audit Committee.
Mr Donald holds a Bachelor of Accounting (Hons) from the University of Malaya and is a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He also holds a Master in Business Administration from the Cranfield School of Management, United Kingdom and is an alumnus of the Advanced Management Program, Harvard Business School.
He is a Fellow Chartered Banker and serves as a Council Member of the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers and the Chairman of its Education Committee. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Asian Banking School and the Chairman of its Talent Development Committee. He also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Finance Accreditation Agency Berhad.
Mr Donald has had a fulfilling career with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) for 36 years, rising to the rank of Assistant Governor, with key responsibilities over the financial stability function, including oversight of BNM’s Financial Stability Report. His work experience included leadership and management oversight over the supervision and regulation of the banking and insurance industry in Malaysia, training and development activities with the banking and insurance institutes. He also served as the Malaysian representative in international supervisory bodies, including the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS) and the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS).
He also held previous positions as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Payments Network Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Chairman of the Board Executive Committee of the Malaysian Insurance Institute, Council Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and Member of the Malaysian Financial Reporting Foundation.

Datuk Iain John Lo (“Datuk Iain”) was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Bank on 15 September 2020. He also serves as a Member of the Board Nominating & Remuneration Committee and Board Audit Committee.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles (“UCLA”). He also holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from UCLA.
Datuk Iain retired as the Country Chairman of Shell Malaysia Limited on 31 March 2021. He is a proven leader who has extensive experience and held a broad range of roles over the past 30 years in Shell’s exploration and production, gas and downstream businesses both in Malaysia as well as abroad. Datuk Iain was the Chairman of Shell Refining Company Bhd until 2016.
He joined Sarawak Shell Berhad as a Field Engineer in 1990 before moving on to undertake various engineering, business development and corporate roles based in Malaysia, Singapore and Netherlands. His areas of responsibilities included governance of LNG and Chemicals joint ventures in Malaysia, Middle East, China and Russia. He was appointed as a Board Director of Singapore’s Economic Development Board in 2009 and served till 2012 when he returned to Malaysia as Chairman and Managing Director of Sarawak Shell Berhad and Sabah Shell Petroleum. In 2017, Datuk Iain was appointed as Asia Pacific Commercial Vice President for Shell’s exploration, production and gas businesses with accountability for regional acquisitions, divestments and new business development.

Hijah Arifakh Othman (“Puan Hijah”) was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Bank on 1 June 2023. She also serves as a Member of the Board Nominating & Remuneration Committee and Board Sustainability Committee.
Puan Hijah holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the City University of London, United Kingdom.
Puan Hijah is a highly experienced banker of over 38 years, specialising in Treasury and Balance Sheet Management. She began her career with Bank Negara Malaysia (“BNM”) in 1984 and she was the pioneer member in setting up Danamodal Nasional Berhad (“Danamodal”) in August 1998, a recapitalisation agency wholly owned subsidiary of BNM during the 1998 financial crisis and she has set-up Danamodal Treasury Division as well as formulated policies on the investment and credit limits in line with the Danamodal’s objective in ensuring safety and liquidity of its portfolio.
Puan Hijah has held various senior positions in established banking groups including the position of Director of Asian Fixed Income Malaysia, Standard Chartered Bank Berhad, Executive Vice President/ Head of Group Treasury Business of Malayan Banking Berhad and Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer of Hong Leong Islamic Bank Berhad.
She was previously a board member of Takaful Ikhlas General Berhad, Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Berhad, MNRB Holdings Berhad and KAF Investment Bank Berhad.

NADZIRAH ABD RASHID

Nadzirah Abd Rashid (“Puan Nadzirah”) was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Bank on 15 March 2024. She also serves as a Member of the Board Audit Committee.
Puan Nadzirah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy from the University of South Australia, a Chartered Accountant from the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and a Fellow of CPA Australia.
With over 35 years of professional experience in the securities market and banking industry, Puan Nadzirah has extensive exposure to regulatory environments. She began her career in the Accountant General’s Department before joining Bank Negara Malaysia as a bank examiner. Subsequently, she moved on to head the finance function of a financial institution. In 1999, she joined Bursa Malaysia Group, where she held various positions in the Finance and Administration Division. Her last position was as the Chief Financial Officer of Bursa Malaysia Berhad, a position that she held for seven (7) years until early 2014.
Puan Nadzirah previously served on the Boards of Credit Guarantee Corporation Malaysia Berhad, CIMB Bank Berhad and CIMB Investment Bank Berhad.
DATO' MOHD RASHID MOHAMAD
Group Managing Director/Group Chief Executive Officer
Dato' Mohd Rashid Mohamad (“Encik Mohd Rashid”), was appointed as the Group Managing Director/Group Chief Executive Officer of RHB Banking Group on 1 April 2022.
Dato' Mohd Rashid is a Chartered Banker of the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (“AICB”) and holds a Master of Business Administration with Distinction from the University of Wales, Cardiff, United Kingdom. He is a graduate of the Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) from the University Technology Mara and is also a graduate of the Advance Strategic Management from the Institute for Management Development, Lausanne.
Dato' Mohd Rashid is the Vice President of Financial Market Association and a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He is also a Member of the Industry Advisory Council of Payments Network Malaysia Sdn Bhd as well as Member of the Financial Market Committee, Bank Negara Malaysia (“BNM”).
Dato' Mohd Rashid had a 14-year stint in BNM in various capacities in the Banking Supervision/Examination and Investment Operations & Financial Markets departments. He later transitioned to the corporate sector, joining ABN Amro NV Singapore and the Royal Bank of Scotland, Singapore where he gained valuable international banking exposure and managing large organisational units. He returned to Malaysia in 2009 to join the Treasury team of AmBank Group before joining RHB Bank in 2014 as its Group Treasurer.
Dato' Mohd Rashid served as the Chairman of the Investment Panel of Kumpulan Wang Amanah Pencen Inc. from 2019 to 2021. Currently, he is a Council Member of AICB, and is Chairman of the AICB Investment Committee. Prior to his appointment as Group Managing Director of RHB Bank, Dato' Mohd Rashid was the Managing Director of Group Wholesale Banking.
MR JAHANATH MUTHUSAMY
Independent Non-Executive Chairman
Mr Jahanath Muthusamy (Mr Jahanath) was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Insurance Berhad on 1 November 2016 and was subsequently appointed as Senior Independent Non-Executive Director on 1 January 2018. On 28 May 2020, Mr Jahanath was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Chairman of RHB Insurance Berhad. He also serves as a Member of the Board Risk Committee of RHB Insurance Berhad.
Mr Jahanath has over 40 years’ experience, having joined the insurance industry in 1975. During this period, he was actively involved in the Insurance Institutes and Insurance Associations of both Malaysia and Indonesia serving in various capacities. In 2002, Mr Jahanath was seconded to PT Assuransi AXA as the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and a member of the Board of Directors. He returned to AXA Affin General Insurance Malaysia at the end of 2006 and assumed the role of CEO and a member of the Board of Directors until his retirement in October 2012. He remained on the board of PT Assuransi AXA until 2012. From 2013 to 2015, he was appointed as a Senior Advisor to Solution Providers Pte Ltd, a Swiss insurance solution provider/consultant based in Singapore.
Mr Jahanath is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute, United Kingdom and Malaysian Insurance Institute, Malaysia.

MS WONG PEK YEE

Ms Wong Pek Yee (Ms Wong) was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Insurance Berhad on 1 November 2018 and was subsequently appointed as Senior Independent Non-Executive Director on 28 May 2020. She also serves as Chairperson of the Board Risk Committee and Member of the Investment Committee of RHB Insurance Berhad.
Ms Wong holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics & Accounting (Honours) from The University of Hull, United Kingdom. She is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and a Member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
Ms Wong has over 37 years of experience working in London and Malaysia covering a wide spectrum of industries including tax consultancy, financial services and manufacturing sectors. She started off her career as an Audit and Tax Consultant with PriceWaterhouse London and PriceWaterhouse Tax Services Sdn Bhd from 1980 to 1989. She then joined Hong Leong Group and held Senior Management positions in various industries involving in strategic business planning and decision making in areas ranging from commercial, financial, corporate restructuring, tax to legal. Her last position in Hong Leong Group was as a Group Financial Controller cum Acting Chief Executive Officer of Malaysian Newsprint Industries Sdn Bhd which was part of the Hong Leong Group. During her years in Hong Leong Group, she was also appointed as an Executive Director in some of the subsidiaries within the Hong Leong Group.

ENCIK SHAIFUBAHRIM MOHD SALEH

Encik Shaifubahrim Mohd Saleh (Encik Shaifubahrim) was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Insurance Berhad on 1 April 2019. He also serves as Chairman of the Investment Committee and Member of the Board Risk Committee of RHB Insurance Berhad.
He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Computer Science from Universiti Sains Malaysia.
Encik Shaifubahrim has vast knowledge and experience in information technology, investment and Small & Medium Enterprises business. He held various Senior Management positions in the information technology industry with more than 30 years. During the years in the information technology industry, he was appointed as President/Chief Executive Officer of Persatuan Industri Kumputer Malaysia (PIKOM), President/Chief Business Officer of REDtone Telecommunications Sdn Bhd and Chairman/Partner of Pritchett Rummler-Brache Malaysia. He has also held other key positions including Managing Director of Cisco Malaysia, Banyan Systems and General Data as well as Sales Director of ORACLE Systems Malaysia.
Encik Shaifubahrim is currently the Director, Chief Executive Officer International of Gamat Emas Sdn Bhd, a company specialising in health lifestyle/supplements and export business. He is also the Chairman of Frontline Resources Sdn Bhd which is involved in ICT systems integration, consultancy and investments.
He is also a Council Member of Malaysian Service Providers Confederation.

ENCIK HIZAMUDDIN JAMALLUDDIN

Encik Hizamuddin Jamalluddin (Encik Hizamuddin) was appointed as an Independent NonExecutive Director of RHB Insurance Berhad on 7 July 2023. He also serves as a Member of its Board Audit Committee.
Encik Hizamuddin holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Northern Illinois University, United States of America. He was a member of the Islamic Finance Committee of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (“MIA”) and Senior Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals.
Encik Hizamuddin has an extensive experience in the field of Islamic banking and has more than 20 years of experience in corporate management, particularly in corporate planning, corporate finance (both equity & capital market), debt restructuring, enterprise risk management, cross border mergers and acquisitions, privatisation, investor relations and stakeholders’ engagement.
He has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Urusharta Jamaah Sdn Bhd, one of the largest Shariah-based equity house in Malaysia, Prior to that, Encik Hizamuddin was the Executive Director, Investment of Lembaga Tabung Haji, a position that he assumed after serving as Lembaga Tabung Haji’s Chief Strategy Officer and Chief of Staff. Prior to Lembaga Tabung Haji, he was also the Chief Strategy Officer of several entities namely, BIMB Holdings Berhad, Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad and MTD Capital. During the Asian Financial Crisis 1997, he served as a Corporate Finance Specialist cum Special Assistant to the Managing Director of Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Berhad. He was also instrumental in the establishment of PrudentialBSN Takaful Berhad in 2006.
Encik Hizamuddin was instrumental in initiating and promoting key Islamic Finance initiatives by Bank Negara Malaysia where he was involved in amongst others; the establishment of the Investment Account Platform, development and execution of the restricted investment account under the Islamic Financial Services Act, 2013, and Dana Al Ansar, a collaboration with Lembaga Tabung Haji to provide dedicated funds for Muslim Bumiputra SMEs. Encik Hizamuddin also spearheaded the Deposit Transition Plan and was instrumental in the integration of the principles of Value Based Intermediary in bank’s business model. He was the recipient of the “Upcoming Personality of Islamic Finance (Leadership)” by the Global Islamic Finance Award 2016.

Tan Sri Ong Leong Huat @ Wong Joo Hwa (“Tan Sri Ong”) was appointed as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Investment Bank on 20 November 2012 and was subsequently appointed as the Chairman of RHB Investment Bank on 23 January 2013 and he then re-designated as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Investment Bank on 27 June 2016. On 22 April 2021, Tan Sri Ong has been appointed as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman of RHB Investment Bank. He also serves as the member of Board Credit Committee.
Tan Sri Ong holds a Capital Markets and Services Representative’s licence issued by the Securities Commission of Malaysia under the Capital Markets and Services Act, 2007 for dealing in securities. Tan Sri Ong was a Director of MESDAQ from July 1999 to March 2002 and a member of the Capital Market Advisory Council appointed by the Securities Commission in 2004 to advise on issues relating to the implementation of the Capital Market Master Plan. He was a director on the Board of Bursa Malaysia Berhad from 2008 to 2015 and was previously a member of the Securities Market Consultative Panel of Bursa Malaysia.

Mr Chin has retired as a partner of KPMG, one of the leading accounting firms on 31 December 2013, after having served the firm for more than 34 years in the United Kingdom, Vietnam and Malaysia. Mr Chin's vast experience covers business solutions in areas such as strategy, human resources, performance improvement to the public and infrastructure sector, consumer and industrial markets, and financial services industry. Throughout his long career with KPMG, Mr Chin’s experience was in the audit function before specializing in taxation for 14 years. He was responsible for setting up the KPMG practice in Vietnam and subsequently headed KPMG's consulting practice for more than 7 years.

Dato’ Siow Kim Lun (“Dato’ Siow”) was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Investment Bank on 1 October 2019. He also serves as a Member of the Board Risk Committee of RHB Investment Bank.
Dato’ Siow graduated with a Master in Business Administration from the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium in 1981 and holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, which he obtained in 1978. He has also attended the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School in 1997.
Dato’ Siow began his career in investment banking with Malaysian International Merchant Bankers Berhad in 1981 and has advised on various types of corporate finance transactions. From 1985 to 1993, he worked for Permata Chartered Merchant Bank Berhad (now known as Affin Hwang Investment Bank Berhad) first as a manager and later as the Divisional Head of its Corporate Finance Division. Between 1993 and 2006, he was with the Securities Commission (SC) where he has served as the Director of its Issues and Investment Division, Director of Market Supervision Division and Executive Director in the Office of the SC Chairman.
He was previously a board member of UMW Holdings Berhad, Citibank Berhad and Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan).

Datuk Iain John Lo (“Datuk Iain”) was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Bank on 15 September 2020. He also serves as a Member of the Board Nominating & Remuneration Committee and Board Audit Committee.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles (“UCLA”). He also holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from UCLA.
Datuk Iain retired as the Country Chairman of Shell Malaysia Limited on 31 March 2021. He is a proven leader who has extensive experience and held a broad range of roles over the past 30 years in Shell’s exploration and production, gas and downstream businesses both in Malaysia as well as abroad. Datuk Iain was the Chairman of Shell Refining Company Bhd until 2016.
He joined Sarawak Shell Berhad as a Field Engineer in 1990 before moving on to undertake various engineering, business development and corporate roles based in Malaysia, Singapore and Netherlands. His areas of responsibilities included governance of LNG and Chemicals joint ventures in Malaysia, Middle East, China and Russia. He was appointed as a Board Director of Singapore’s Economic Development Board in 2009 and served till 2012 when he returned to Malaysia as Chairman and Managing Director of Sarawak Shell Berhad and Sabah Shell Petroleum. Puan Hijah is a highly experienced banker of over 38 years, specialising in Treasury and Balance Sheet Management. She began her career with Bank Negara Malaysia (“BNM”) in 1984 and she was the pioneer member in setting up Danamodal Nasional Berhad (“Danamodal”) in August 1998, a recapitalisation agency wholly owned subsidiary of BNM during the 1998 financial crisis and she has set-up Danamodal Treasury Division as well as formulated policies on the investment and credit limits in line with the Danamodal’s objective in ensuring safety and liquidity of its portfolio.
Puan Hijah has held various senior positions in established banking groups including the position of Director of Asian Fixed Income Malaysia, Standard Chartered Bank Berhad, Executive Vice President/ Head of Group Treasury Business of Malayan Banking Berhad and Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer of Hong Leong Islamic Bank Berhad.

Datuk Chung Chee Leong (“Datuk Chung”) was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Investment Bank on 24 November 2023. He also serves as the member of Board Credit Committee and Chairman of RHB Bank (L) Limited.
Datuk Chung holds a Bachelor of Economics Degree, majoring in Business Administration from the University of Malaya.
Datuk Chung was previously the President & CEO of Cagamas Berhad from April 2012 to August 2023. Prior to his appointment at Cagamas, he served as Director of Bank Negara Malaysia’s (“BNM”) Banking Supervision Department as well as Risk Management Department. He has 29 years’ experience in central banking, focusing mainly on the financial system stability and the financial sector.
Datuk Chung was formerly a member of the Panel of Experts in the Ministry of Housing and Local Government, Founding Chairman of the International Secondary Mortgage Market Association and served as the first Chairman of the Asian Secondary Mortgage Market Association. Datuk Chung previously served as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Credit Guarantee Corporation Berhad. He was a Member of Small Debt Resolution Committee, established by Bank Negara Malaysia, Expert of International Monetary Fund and Consultant of Asian Development Bank.
Datuk Chung was involved in the development of the Financial Sector Blue Print, establishment of the deposit insurance scheme and the Malaysian Cooperative Commission. During his service with BNM, he carried out assignments for the International Monetary Fund and the Islamic Financial Services Board. He has spearheaded Cagamas’ entrance into the international bond market. Starting with the A3 Sovereign Equivalent International Rating by Moody’s Investors Service, he was instrumental in establishing the Company’s USD5 billion Multicurrency EMTN Programme under which Cagamas’ inaugural and South East Asia largest Offshore Renminbi bond was issued.
More recently, Datuk Chung oversaw the successful introduction of Malaysia’s reverse mortgage, Skim Saraan Bercagar in 2021. This was followed by the world’s first Islamic reverse mortgage scheme, Skim Saraan Bercagar Islamik in 2022.
In recognition for his contribution to Islamic finance and Islamic capital market. Datuk Chung was presented with the Global Islamic Finance Award 2020 for Islamic financial advocacy and The Asset Triple A Islamic Finance award for Industry Leadership (2022) and Lifetime Achievement (2023).

Mr. Kevin Vijendren Davies (“Kevin”) was appointed as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of RHB Investment Bank Berhad (“RHB Investment Bank”) on 1 August 2024. In this role, Kevin is responsible for spearheading the Group’s Investment Banking businesses in Malaysia and the region with the aim of growing and delivering shareholder returns by achieving financial targets, ensuring operational excellence and expanding the RHB Investment Bank franchise and wholesale business.
Prior to joining RHB Investment Bank, Kevin held various senior positions in Maybank Investment Bank Berhad (“Maybank IB”), including Head, Investment Banking & Advisory as well as Managing Director, Client Coverage.
Kevin began his career at Ernst & Young in 1998. He joined Maybank IB in 2000, where he spent the last 24 years in leadership roles at Corporate Finance, Investment Banking and Client Coverage.
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from the University of Kent, United Kingdom (“UK”) as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Business from the University of Strathclyde, UK. Dato’ Foong has more than 25 years of experience in legal practice and is currently a Managing Partner of a niche corporate boutique law firm, Foong & Partners which he set up in 2003. Aside from being an Advocate & Solicitor at High Court of Malaya, he is also a practicing Advocate & Solicitor at the Federal Court of Australia and Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia.
He had previously practiced at Baker & McKenzie in Sydney and returned to Malaysia in 1993 to continue his practice at Zaid Ibrahim & Co. Dato’ Foong was made a partner in 1996 where he was subsequently appointed the Head of the Corporate & Commercial and Foreign Investment of Zaid Ibrahim & Co.

Her extensive experience includes collaboration with regulators, government ministries agencies and organisations in various sectors encompassing financial services, telecommunications and multimedia, energy, capital markets, transportation, aviation, manufacturing & trading, cyber security, provident fund and sovereign wealth fund, as well as non-governmental organisations.
Her knowledge and experience earned her the “Best Certified Business Continuity Professional in Malaysia” award from Disaster Recovery Institute International at their inaugural awards in 2012. She was also awarded the “Cybersecurity Lifetime Achievement Award” in 2018 by CyberSecurity Malaysia.

Encik Hizamuddin bin Jamalluddin ("En Hizamuddin") was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Islamic Bank Berhad on 1 October 2021.
En Hizamuddin holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Northern Illinois University, United States of America. He is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals and a recipient of the “Upcoming Personality of Islamic Finance (Leadership)” by the Global Islamic Finance Award 2016.
En Hizamuddin has an extensive experience in the field of Islamic banking and investment management, having served the pioneer Islamic bank in Malaysia, pilgrimage fund of Malaysia, national asset management company during the Asian financial crisis 1997 as well as other various premier institutions.
En Hizamuddin has more than 20 years of experience in corporate management, particularly corporate planning, corporate finance (both equity & capital markets), debt restructuring, enterprise risk management, cross border mergers & acquisitions, privatisation, investor relations and stakeholders’ engagement.
He served as the Chief Strategy Officer for several entities i.e. BIMB Holdings Berhad, Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad, MTD Capital and Lembaga Tabung Haji. He was also the former Executive Director of Investment of Lembaga Tabung Haji and a former Chief Executive Officer of asset management company owned by Ministry of Finance, Incorporated. Dato’ Adissadikin Ali (“Dato’ Adissadikin”) was appointed as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (“MD/CEO”) of RHB Islamic Bank on 1 August 2016.
He started his career with the Renong Group of Companies in various positions within the Group. In 1999, he joined Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Berhad, the National Asset Management arm which was established as a pre-emptive measure to avert the deterioration of Malaysia’s banking industry. After four years with Danaharta, Dato’ Adissadikin joined Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad as Special Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer.
Thereon, Dato’ Adissadikin accumulated experience in formulating and executing corporate strategic plan, business process re-engineering as well as bank-wide transformation programme. Dato’ Adissadikin was involved in the turn-around of Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad.
He was appointed the President / Chief Executive Officer of Export-Import Bank of Malaysia (EXIM) in October 2010 and served until June 2015. Prior to joining RHB Banking Group in August 2016, he was the Chief Executive Officer at Alkhair International Islamic Bank Berhad, the first foreign Islamic Bank in Malaysia.

She holds a bachelors’ degree in Economics and Accountancy from Durham University, UK and also Master in Business Administration from London Business School, UK. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Dato’ Darawati Hussain is a Director of Syalin Sdn Bhd., a family investment office. Formerly with CIMB Group, her last position was as Director, Fund and Co-Investor Relations under the Group Strategy and Strategic Investments Division (CIMB GSSI).
She has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, asset management and private equity. Darawati first joined the corporate advisory team of CIMB Group (Malaysia) where she specialised in mergers and acquisitions and capital raising transactions. She also spent five years in London where she was a European equities portfolio manager for a US fund management company with asset under management (AUM) worth US$70 billion.
In 2001, she rejoined CIMB Group to set-up and develop the private equity franchise formerly known as CIMB Private Equity and Venture Capital and in particular, driving the initiative to set-up the Shariah-compliant private equity funds. Dato’ Darawati also serves as the Chairman of RHB Private Equity Holdings Sdn. Bhd. and as an Independent Board Member of Mesiniaga Berhad, Malaysia Venture Capital Management Berhad (MAVCAP). She is also a Director of RHB Asset Management Sdn Bhd and RHB Islamic International Asset Management Berhad as well as a SINED of Malaysian Trustees Berhad.
Dato’ Darawati is also a Director of several private-limited companies involved in a diverse range of businesses namely strategic crisis management communication and HSE consultancy. Puan Sharizad binti Juma’at (Puan Sharizad) was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Asset Management Berhad ("RHBAM") on 22 May 2023. She is also a member of the Investment Committee and Audit Committee of RHBAM.
Puan Sharizad Juma'at has more than 30 years of experience in debt and equity capital markets, encompassing several asset classes including equity investments, treasury management, fixed income portfolio, credit analysis, private equity and property. Her most recent roles were as Chief Executive Officer of RHBIIAM while at the same time assuming the roles of the Head of Institutional Business Malaysia and Regional Head of Islamic Business for RHB Asset Management Group. She was responsible for driving business in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Hong Kong for the group's retail, wholesale and institutional markets while spearheading the shariah compliant products with reputable global partners including global intermediaries and distributors.
Prior to that she was the CEO of AmanahRaya Investment Management Sdn Bhd, a licensed asset management of Amanahraya Berhad from 2004 to 2013 where she was instrumental in the setting up AmanahRaya REITs and its listing on Bursa Malaysia. Before that, Puan Sharizad served the Employees Provident Fund (“EPF”) the longest for 18 years period as its Head of Equity investments and prior to that she was the Head of Treasury/Fixed Income. She has served EPF the longest in managing equity portfolio, fixed income and treasury investments. She commenced her career at Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) as a research analyst.
Puan Sharizad is active on the speaking circuit, where she regularly participates as a panel speaker in conferences and seminar related to capital markets and Shariah business; and as a participant in asset and wealth management roundtable discussions as well as on matters related to ESG and sustainable investments.
She holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and Master in Business Administration (Finance) from Michigan State University, East Lansing, USA. She also participated in the Senior Leadership Management Program at Harvard University, Boston, USA. She retired from RHB Banking Group in May 2020.

Mr. Ng Chze How (“Mr. Ng”) was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director, RHB Asset Management Sdn Bhd on 11 September 2024.
In his role, Mr. Ng will primarily be responsible to lead, strategize and maximize returns of the Group’s Asset Management & Trustee business. He is passionate about public education in financial literacy, sharing knowledge in financial management and investment.
Mr. Ng has with him 25 years of experience within the financial services industry. He has vast experience in leading Asset Management Companies, Life Insurance Company, and Consumer Banks.
Mr. Ng held senior leadership positions in Manulife Investment Management (M) Berhad. Prior to that, he was General Manager and Executive Director of AIA Pension & Asset Management Sdn Bhd; Senior Vice President, Retail & Retirement Funds in AmFUNDS. He was under employment of Prudential Funds as the Chief Officer, Sales & Distribution. To add on, a Star Awards Bank Manager in Standard Chartered Bank.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Strathclyde in United Kingdom. Mr. Ng is a holder of Capital Market Services Representative License for Fund Management and he is a holder of Certified Financial Planner.

Dato’ Siow Kim Lun (“Dato’ Siow”) was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of RHB Investment Bank on 1 October 2019. He also serves as a Member of the Board Risk Committee of RHB Investment Bank.
Dato’ Siow graduated with a Master in Business Administration from the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium in 1981 and holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, which he obtained in 1978. He has also attended the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School in 1997.
Dato’ Siow began his career in investment banking with Malaysian International Merchant Bankers Berhad in 1981 and has advised on various types of corporate finance transactions. From 1985 to 1993, he worked for Permata Chartered Merchant Bank Berhad (now known as Affin Hwang Investment Bank Berhad) first as a manager and later as the Divisional Head of its Corporate Finance Division. Between 1993 and 2006, he was with the Securities Commission (SC) where he has served as the Director of its Issues and Investment Division, Director of Market Supervision Division and Executive Director in the Office of the SC Chairman.
He was previously a board member of UMW Holdings Berhad, Citibank Berhad and Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan).
Dato’ Siow is currently a Director of EITA Resources Berhad, Eco World International Berhad, Sunway Construction Group Berhad and Radiant Globaltech Berhad.

Dato’ Darawati Hussain was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director on 17 March 2021 and subsequently redesignated as Senior Independent Non-Executive Director (SINED) on 22 September 2021.
She holds a Bachelors’ degree in Economics and Accountancy from Durham University, UK and also Master in Business Administration from London Business School, UK. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Dato’ Darawati Hussain is a Director of Syalin Sdn Bhd., a family investment office. Formerly with CIMB Group, her last position was as Director, Fund and Co-Investor Relations under the Group Strategy and Strategic Investments Division (CIMB GSSI).
Dato’ Darawati has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, asset management and private equity. Dato’ Darawati first joined the Corporate Advisory Team of CIMB Group (Malaysia) where she specialised in mergers and acquisitions and capital raising transactions. She also spent five years in London where she was a European equities portfolio manager for a US fund management company with assets under management (AUM) worth US$70 billion.
In 2001, she rejoined CIMB Group to set-up and develop the private equity franchise formerly known as CIMB Private Equity and Venture Capital and in particular, driving the initiative to set-up the Shariah-compliant private equity funds. Dato’ Darawati also serves as the Chairman of RHB Private Equity Holdings Sdn. Bhd. and as an Independent Board Member of Mesiniaga Berhad, Malaysia Venture Capital Management Berhad (MAVCAP). She is also a Director of RHB Asset Management Sdn Bhd and RHB Islamic International Asset Management Berhad as well as a SINED of RHB Trustees Berhad.
Dato’ Darawati is also a Director of several private-limited companies involved in a diverse range of businesses namely strategic crisis management communication and HSE consultancy. She was formerly an Independent Non-Executive Board member for Tanah Makmur Berhad, Asiamet Education Group Berhad, Global Maritime Ventures Berhad and the Investment Committee of BIMB Investment Management Berhad.
Dato’ Darawati Hussain was a former Chairperson of Malaysia Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (MVCA) and committee member of Malaysia Venture Capital Development Corporation (MVCDC) under SC and remains an active member of MVCA. Dr Chong Han Hwee (“Dr Han”) was appointed as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director on 12 July 2021.
Dr Han was appointed as the Group Chief Risk Officer of the RHB Banking Group on 28 September 2020. He is responsible for the effective management of Group-wide Risk Management across credit, operations, market and Shariah. He also oversees the development of risk management benchmarked with good practices within the industry.
Prior to joining RHB, Dr Han was a Partner in EY Malaysia where he headed the Financial Services Risk Management function. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Finance from Curtin University of Technology, Australia and earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from Curtin University (formerly known as Curtin University of Technology), Australia.
Dr Han is also a Board Member of RHB Trustees Berhad.
